Using Macros and Buttons to Automate a Spreadsheet

In business, people often use the same spreadsheet again and again. Buttons and Macros can be used to automate repetitive and complex processes in these spreadsheets.

Email me the spreadsheet when you are done. Also turn in your write-up as usual.

In your work for the local Toyota Dealer, you have created a spreadsheet that tracks each vehicle sale. You can then print off nice graphs showing the Sales for a particular salesperson, a particular month, or a particular car. Your manager was impressed and soon started asking you to print out graphs for her. Soon the salespeople learned of the graphs and started asking you to print out graphs for them.

You decided to let everyone use your spreadsheet, but it was complicated to show them how you got the graphs to print out. You decided to add a number of buttons to make the process easier. Look at the Auto_Sales spreadsheet and decide what buttons/macros you could add to make the process easier.

You may also add protection or any other features to make the spreadsheet easier to use.
