Community Service Internship |
|
For students who are working full time or otherwise unable to complete a traditional internship, the CIS Department accepts comminity service internships. These are organized by students by offering their computer skills to area non-profit organizations on a volunteer basis. This may include volunteering for IT projects at local churches, schools, or community service organizations. These are similar to traditional internships and still require 150 hours of service/work for each four credits. The same paper work is completed for the internship. It is possible for students to spread their 150 hours across a number of ogranizations, if needed. If you have questions concerning this, please email Tom Gibbons (tgibbons@css.edu) or call him (218)-723-6294. |
