In preparation for juvenile sex offender treatment training please review the resources listed below. For each area there are learning objectives to guide your study of these extensive resources. Many training programs are designed to lecture to participants, which means that information is only acquired during that program-- we want you to come with a sufficient amount of information already so we can work more on understanding and applying it. Come to training prepared to actively participate and discuss what you have learned about JSOs. The Proposal section immediately below outlines each training session's agenda and other materials. The areas marked with *indicate areas you should study. You will not be able to read all of the recommended reading, so read with a purpose; read to answer the objectives questions we pose as well as questions you have about working with this population.
