Solution-Focused Problem Solving (SFPS) is an approach to framing problems in terms of their solutions or outcomes. Traditional problem-focused approaches may entrench a group in viewing the problem from a perspective that defies solution. A solution oriented approach enables reframing and innovative approaches. This article by Swenson & Anstett describes the limitations of the traditional approach, advantages of SFPS, and describes the questions that can be used to elicit an outcome structure.
Innovations and Inventions. Some interesting developments and discoveries that can occur when one thinks outside the boundaries.

Learning-Organization Listserver
Joining this listserve is a requirement for the MGT590 Seminar in Management (Systems Theory) class. You are to join the list within the first week of class, "lurk" (just observe) for a couple weeks to get a sense of the interaction and topics, and then feel free to join in the discussion.
