Map to the Ol' Swenson Place: 2646 Lakewood Road. We are located just 20-25 minutes (depending on how fast you drive) from the College of St. Scholastica, just outside of Duluth in Lakewood Township. There are two routes:

If you are coming from the CSS/UMD or Mt. Royal area, Start at the intersection of Woodland Ave. and Jean Duluth Road. Take Jean Duluth 7.8 miles to the intersection with Zimmerman Road. Turn right on Zimmerman, it will s-curve and turn into Lismore for 4.4 miles until it intersects with Lakewood Road. Turn right on Lakewood for .4 mile. Then turn left on Lauren Road and go .2 mile to our driveway on the right side of the road (green mailbox, wooden fence and tall posts at entrance)

If you are coming from the Lakeside, East End area, start at the intersection of East Superior St. and the New Highway (Hwy 61) to Two Harbors. Take Hwy 61 2.3 miles to the intersection with Lakewood Road. Turn left on Lakewood (away from the lake) and go 4.5 miles to Lauren Road. Turn right on Lauren and go .2 miles to the green mailbox, wooden fence and tall posted entrance on the right side.
