Need: explains need, importance, relevance of the study (include citations as appropriate)
Hypotheses: (if appropriate) statement of what specifically will be tested
Organization: explain how you plan to proceed with the study
Methodology: briefly consider design, instrumentation, participants, data treatment
Vocabulary: fluent use of terms & concepts; avoids jargon, cliches, & colloquialisms
References: initially 15-25 from academic sources (primarily recent journals)
Mechanics: accurate spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc.
APA Style: very precise adherence to guidelines
