Process Consultation

This webpage is a working reference for the development of a course on process consultation. It is not intended for other use at this time.

Task questions & ideas:

• what should this course include? How will it be different from and build on the other courses such as the OD overview, team development, and OB?
• how should theory and experiential activities be balanced in such a short time period (8 weeks)?
• consider using small groups (T-groups?) or those with a task (such as designing a process consultation handbook for facilitators)-- then using their own dynamics as a means for identifying what should be included?
• the underlying philosophy is the key (eg., facilitation r/t expert). What techniques and focal groups (team level, org level, macro level?) should we have?
• is there a possibility we should start an OD track to the masters? (similar to what we proposed to STP AMAP?) I have a collection of sample curricula I gathered fpr the last proposal.
